Manners and structure that hold up anywhere
A dog that listens in the kitchen but falls apart at the door does not have reliable obedience yet. Our obedience programs build the commands first, then the manners and structure that hold up around real distractions: sit, down, place, come, heel and loose-leash walking, taught through private one-on-one lessons with you and your dog. Every lesson package includes the e-collar and training leash, and every program on our plans and pricing page comes with a hands-on owner transfer session and free lifetime tune-ups. For dogs that need off-leash reliability proofed around distractions, our immersive board and train is the faster path.

Obedience training questions
What commands does obedience training cover?
Our Basic Obedience package covers come, sit and extended sit, down and extended down, place and extended place, a loose-leash heel, and the "off" command. The 8-lesson Basic & Advanced Obedience package repeats those four basic lessons first, then adds advanced work: extended distance obedience, heel, and the watch, through, front and stand commands.
How old does my dog need to be for obedience lessons?
All dogs must be 20 weeks or older for our obedience lesson packages and board and train programs. For younger puppies, our puppy training consultation covers house training, crate training and early manners so you can start right away.
What is the difference between lessons and board and train?
Lessons are private sessions where we coach you and your dog together, so you do the training with our guidance. Board and train is an immersive stay: your dog trains daily with a professional trainer and comes home with the obedience already built, and you get a hands-on transfer session at pickup.
How long does obedience training take?
Basic Obedience runs four weekly one-hour lessons. Basic & Advanced Obedience runs eight. Our 2-Week Advanced Board & Train takes two weeks. We will map out a realistic timeline at your free consultation.
