In-home training questions
What does an in-home lesson program include?
Our Basic Obedience package is four private one-hour lessons on the core commands. The 8-lesson Basic & Advanced Obedience package repeats those four first, then adds advanced commands. Both include the e-collar and training leash.
Do you really come to my home?
Yes. Our private lessons are run at your home and in your own neighborhood across Amarillo and the surrounding Panhandle communities. Our board and train programs run out of our facility at 8111 S Soncy Rd #150 in Amarillo.
Can in-home lessons help with reactivity or anxiety?
Our Behavior Modification Lessons package is eight private lessons designed for dogs with severe anxiety and aggression. The first four lessons are the basic obedience foundation, and the final four address your dog's specific issues in different scenarios. Call us and we will tell you honestly whether lessons or a board and train is the better fit.
How old does my dog need to be for in-home lessons?
All dogs must be 20 weeks or older for our lesson packages. For younger puppies, our puppy training consultation covers house training, crate training and early manners.
