Programs and prices

These are the prices on our website on November 4, 2026. Prices can change; our prices page always has the current ones.

Board and train

Your dog lives with a professional trainer and trains several hours every day, with daily video updates and direct contact with your trainer. At pickup, the trainer spends a few hours with you going over everything your dog learned. Dogs must be 20 weeks or older and not showing anxiety, aggression or reactivity (see behavior modification below). E-collar included.

1-Week Board & Train: Off-Leash In-Home Manners

$1,400

One week focused on off-leash recall, sit and place, plus greeting, door and meal manners in and around the home.

2-Week Advanced Board & Train

$2,800

Two weeks: off-leash recall, down and place around distractions, heel, and greeting, door and meal manners, with outings to dog-friendly stores and public spaces. Includes free 1-hour tune-ups for the life of your dog.

4-week Elite Board & Train

$5,400

Everything in the 2-Week Advanced plus advanced commands (send away to place, sit in motion, distance down), a command of your choosing, at least 12 real-world outings, and an optional video chat at the two-week mark. Includes free 1-hour tune-ups for the life of your dog.

Behavior modification

For dogs with anxiety, reactivity, separation anxiety, or aggression toward dogs or people. Dogs with human aggression need muzzle conditioning first, and we send a video that shows how. Dogs must be 20 weeks or older.

3-Week Board & Train: Moderate Behavior Modification

$5,000

Three weeks living with a professional trainer, focused on the behavior problem, plus six foundational commands. Includes 4 weekly follow-up lessons afterward. E-collar included.

4-Week Board & Train: Severe Behavior Modification

$6,500

Four weeks for severe anxiety, aggression or reactivity, plus six foundational commands. Includes 4 weekly follow-up lessons afterward. E-collar included.

Behavior Modification Lessons

$1,200

Eight private lessons for dogs with severe anxiety or aggression: four lessons of basic obedience, then four that work on your dog's issues in different situations. E-collar and training leash included.

Private lessons

One-on-one lessons where you and your dog train together with a trainer. Our lessons are always private, never group classes. Dogs must be 20 weeks or older.

Evaluation

$30

A 30-minute one-on-one session to talk through your dog's history and your goals, so we can recommend the right program. Credited toward the program you book.

Basic Obedience

$625

Four private lessons: come, sit, down and place (with extended holds), loose-leash heel and off. E-collar and training leash included.

Basic & Advanced Obedience

$950

Eight private lessons: the four Basic Obedience lessons, then four advanced lessons covering extended distance obedience, heel, watch, through, front, stand and more. E-collar and training leash included.

Basic Marker Mastery

$500

Four one-hour, reward-based sessions: an introduction to come and sit, the place command, and loose-leash walking. 15-foot leash, clicker and slip lead included; no e-collar.

Therapy Dog Preparation

$1,400

A 10-lesson package over 10 weeks that prepares you and your dog for therapy dog testing. Your dog must not have behavior problems, and a public access test is part of the process.

Puppy training

Puppy training starts as early as 8 weeks. We do not use the e-collar in our puppy programs.

Puppy Training Consultation

$100

A single one-hour consultation: house training, crate training, puppy manners (come and sit), and socialization. A consultation, not a full program.

Puppy Training Lessons

$315

Four one-hour sessions: potty training, crate training, puppy manners (come, sit, down and place), and socialization. Each session is half hands-on work and half instruction for you.

Puppies

Puppies can start as early as 8 weeks with the puppy consultation or puppy lessons, which do not use the e-collar. Board and train and the obedience lessons start at 20 weeks. Call us and we will tell you what fits your puppy's age.

What every board and train includes

  • Your dog lives with a professional trainer for the whole program and trains every day.
  • Daily video updates and direct contact with your trainer.
  • A go-home session at pickup where the trainer shows you everything your dog learned. Plan on a few hours.
  • An e-collar (the 4-week Elite also includes a slip leash).
  • The behavior modification programs add 4 weekly follow-up lessons; the 2-Week Advanced and 4-week Elite add free 1-hour tune-ups for the life of your dog.

Frequently misunderstood facts

  • Board and train and private lessons are different. In board and train, your dog lives and trains with our trainer. In private lessons, you and your dog train together with a trainer.
  • A puppy consultation is not a puppy program. The $100 Puppy Training Consultation is a single one-hour session. Puppy Training Lessons ($315) are four sessions.
  • Aggression work is its own program. The 1-Week, 2-Week Advanced and 4-week Elite board and train programs are not for dogs showing anxiety, aggression or reactivity. Those dogs go into the behavior modification board and train ($5,000 or $6,500) or Behavior Modification Lessons ($1,200).
  • Dogs with human aggression need muzzle conditioning first. We send a step-by-step video that shows how.
  • Most programs start at 20 weeks. Younger puppies start with the puppy consultation or puppy lessons.
  • The e-collar is not used with puppies or in Marker Mastery. Our puppy programs and Basic Marker Mastery are reward-based.
  • Lifetime tune-ups come with specific programs. Free 1-hour tune-ups for life come with the 2-Week Advanced and 4-week Elite board and train.
  • All lessons are private. We do not run group classes.

What Off Leash K9 Training Amarillo is not

  • Not group classes. Every lesson is one-on-one with a trainer.
  • Not a one-time fix. Results hold with 10 to 15 minutes of practice a day at home, which we teach you.
  • Not the same business as other Off Leash K9 Training locations. This page covers the Amarillo location only.
